I have open a new tread.
a lot of thanks for your welcome Kent W and falcon
first:you can ask this dansk e tailer

i think the Dragon jeep is not upscaled.
Dragon have not a 1/35 jeep in his pool for a upscale.
i can see three errors on the 1/6 jeep.
1. Grill(headlamps original more nearly the hood angles and in higher position)
2. Rims (only bad)
3. Frame(i think only for more stability not as U profil/missing gun mount plate)
oh and the wheels on rear axle are in a bad position like a race car.but this is not a problem.
you can cut the axle.
I can´t find more errors.
i think it is a good model.
i will tomorrow add some pics.

Good move jeepfriend making an own thread of the 1:6th jeep.
Yes actionsfiguren.dk is a member here on this forum.
I know from fellow 1:6th tankers also interested in 1:6th figures actionsfiguren is a safe vendor ordering from.

That Dragon jeep sure looks good.
Thanks for pointing out some errors and how to correct them.
Cheers
Kent

I have mixed things up. I read about another jeepmodel that was scaled up. Maybe it was the Verlinden 1/15 model....
Saw pictures of your jeep att g503.com also (a nice photo of the enginebay...) Visiting "the G" almost daily, trying to learn about the MB/GPW (got a GPW, to be restored after i have built a new garage...)

oh yes the enginebay is very fuel on my jeep
the verlinden jeep is with a frame like a GPW
and the 1:24 italeri is with a GPW like frame.
the most another models are with a MB like frame.
will you make a 100% restauration?
like a brand new GPW with all "F" marked screws.
or like a real war time vehicle.
how long was a GPW a GPW and how long a MB a MB ?
after the first and follow field repairs.....

I have got the italeri version (and a few other...) Must take a look at the frame.
About my 1:1 project -it will be a motorpool restauration. Missing a lot of parts, so I will take what I can find, as long as it makes the jeep look (and feel...) like a ww2 vehicle. Looking for an original type of engine, to replace the current Volvo B16. Got a new repro body, since the original is rusted and too much modified by bubba... (Anyone got a Willys MB/GPW engine for sale -send me a PM!
