Here's the finalized front supports ready to send out once I get the driver's parts completed. Hopefully today I'll have more to post.

Here's the rough Ammunition storage box for the driver's side pannier. This is to get the basic dimensions down and fit correct. The kits pannier floors have a bend that is not in the real Tiger so the bottom of this piece had to be slightly different from the real thing in order to fit the model.

You might notice the rounds are not Kwk 36  I used my Panther ammo that I created a while ago as place holders only. the racks are designed to fit Mike Stannard's ammunition. I just didn't feel like drawing one in 3D for sake of this image. :?

Refinements to follow.

I imagine there is quite a lot of work going in to the 3D renderings? You are cranking out parts at a rate that has me totally confused. Do you leave your CAD-work to a contractor to produce them? Out of what material?

Just researching the parts and their proper dimensions seems like a daunting task to me.

Totally stunned. Pinch me - is this real?

Thanks guys.

Chris, you are making me laugh. : )

I woke up the other day realizing that I have too many models to build so it was simply time to get serious about the ones under way at the moment. That, and I just finished up a very busy two months of 'real work' and have new energy for the 1:6th, fun stuff. Also, weather is awesome here! Spring has come and it's warm and sunny, that always helps my spirit.

Like my Panzer IV parts, these will be SLA parts from high impact material.

Thanks again
Tim

A good laughter prolongs life as we say here and I do try to make one or two. However, there really is a step between the 3d drawings and the finished parts (...) that I don't fully grasp. Are you feeding the drawings into your own cnc mill, using a 3d printer or how do you do it?

Cheers,
/Chris (who still doesn't get it...)

Hi everyone

Here is the finalized, forward roof support I'm sending out with some other parts tomorrow. Added a few more details to the part and double checked all dimensions with my Tiger. Hope it fits. LOL I'll be completeing the MG ammo trays for the radio operators side as well.

Many thanks my friend. :D

Finalized the driver's vision port. This is designed to be a simple, drop-in detail piece with a functional interior door for the glass block.

Most Tiger interior parts were sent out today so next post will be real parts.

More soon. Hope to get the interior parts installed and painted next week. For now, it's back to the Panzer IV.

Vision port receives a quick base coat of paint. I'll weather this along with the rest of the interior at a later date.
