Hi friends

And now for something completely different. I've always wanted to do this but was busy with bigger projects. Yesterday, I decided to at least start by painting a few with a base coat. I'll try and weather these so the look as real as possible. A new challenge with something different. May use one for an HJ panzergrenadier that will be hitching a ride on the Panzer IV in its final photos.

Also wanted to do a quick comparison of manufacturers and types while I was at it. Can you tell I don't feel like working on the Tiger?

Very nice looking at-weapons, who makes them? And I do agree, a "smaller" scale project is very enjoyable to.. esp the figures!

Hi Gabriel, the one I am using is made by Toy Story. The first panzerschreck photographed and the U.S. bazooka are DML.

Here's the finished piece. Painted this one as a two-color camo and veteran piece of the hard fighting in the battle for Normandy. Hope to make a 12SS figure to go with it.

The only thing I added was the spare lens/cloth in the holder on the back side of the shield.
