More Tiger interior mania

Had a chance to photo these today and will install, add the welds, paint and weather later on.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Started to test fit the interior parts with the motors to check any interference and everything seems OK. Then I got carried away and had to see how it looked painted even before I add any welds. My impatience shining through.

I installed my finished MG mount in the Panzer IV and am still working on the exterior armor for the driver's vision ports so those parts aren't shown here. Only the supports. Final paint and markings along with weathering will come later. So not complete by any means. I may keep the roof support removable. Not sure yet.

You're not exactly cutting any corners...

It's beginning to look cozy inside. :D

It's an amazing tour you are giving us - very inspiring!

Thanks,

Thanks for the nice words.

With the PAnzer IV project in a good spot, the summer of the late Tiger is under way! :)

Forward MG mount, still incomplete but here's some photos of it installed. A proper feed and brass catch tray will be fabricated along with the two head rests.

Hi everyone

While waiting for the parts from Armortek needed to mount the motors, I couldn't resist to complete the wiring to hear the Tiger for the first time. Not the final layout of electronics by any means but it's nice to have it in the hull. :D and hear a different motor sound.

Hi everyone

While the gear housings were off anyway, decided to add the welded rod to hold the spare links. They'll be toned down more with final paint, camo and weathering.

Front mud flap hook redo.

Only the first, rough step of soldering the three pieces together for both hooks. I'll shape the top handle/hook and clean them up tonight.

Here's the real one on an Sdkfz 7 I used for reference. No Tiger 1s to be found locally here.

Finished the hooks. They are just long enough that I can hook them and the tension from the mud flap holds them tight.

One more small thing checked off the list so I can move on to something else.

Happy tanking
